Starting Date: August 2023 to June 2024 (10-month position)

General Description:
This position supports the operation, communications, and functioning of the elementary program at Great River School. Duties include student intervention support; tracking data related to student behavior and intervention; communication with individual families on behalf of the elementary program director; creation of documents clearly communicating protocols and policies; gathering of information from guides and staff; monitoring needed materials and supplies; and overseeing day to day logistics of the elementary office and building.
7:45am-3:45pm generally for school days
Attend all staff meetings and Inservices.
Plan to be onsite 2 weeks before and 1 week after teacher Inservices.
Summer duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned by the Elementary Director. Schedule may be variable and centered around the needs of professional development events, planning, and necessary documentation and preparation for programming. Summer schedule to be set in writing by June 1st each year.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Documentation of data, record keeping for discipline
Execution of logistics including safety of traffic, student activities, and recess around campus
Monitoring of needed tools and material use per needs of the educational program
Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
1+ years experience working in non-profit /or educational settings
1+ years experience working in an intervention setting with students/children
Understanding and willingness to learn the unique opportunities and challenges of a Montessori program serving ages 6-18.
