Jefferson Street Preschool (JSP) is a play-based preschool in Old Town Louisville. We have an open teaching position for the 2023-2024 school year, which starts on September 5th, 2023.

We are looking to hire an assistant preschool teacher to help us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45am-1:45pm. Pay is $17/hour. Responsibilities would include setting up and cleaning the classroom, engaging with and caring for children, helping the lead teacher carry out the activities for the day, and contributing ideas for our themes and events for the school year. This assistant role could grow into a lead role in the future, and is a great opportunity for someone who is either looking to enter the early childhood field or ease back into it.
