Southern Costume Company in the CBD is hiring seamstresses for the upcoming Mardi Gras season. This is a seasonal hire.
We are looking for some talent as it relates to costuming and sewing. Must be well organized, neat and above all, nice.
Because we service the Motion Picture and Television industry throughout the state, this is a chance to come in and learn our language, understand the expectations and network with working Costume Designers, Supervisors, keys and on a public level, all sorts of interesting people.
We have some contracts coming up that require some help in construction. Must be familiar commercial/industrial sewing machines (Juki's). It helps if you can drape and or grade.
