The Middle School Math teacher will teach the core components of 2 or 3 of the following: 5th grade math, 6th grade math, 7th grade math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I. Job Requirements:

Minimum of a BS/BA.
In agreement with the Marshalltown Christian School Statement of Faith.
Active member/regular attendee of a Bible-believing church and committed to growth in his/her relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Math Teacher to join our team. MCS middle school students are strong in math facts and conceptual math and are a JOY to work with! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching middle school math and be able to create engaging lesson plans.

Responsibilities:

Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of students.
Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students in the learning process.
Assess student understanding of material and adjust instruction accordingly.
