Full Job Description

Our auto repair shop is in need of an experienced, thorough Mechanic. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety mechanical issues on customers’ cars. We’re looking for a well-trained and highly organized professional who takes pride in their work and can perform various vehicle service duties as required throughout the day.

We seek for someone with a flexible schedule able to work 5-6 days per week and a desire to grow within. We will offer paid vacation days, and holidays. This position is now available to work with our rapidly increasing business in Downtown Aurora IL. Phone # ---------

Day To Day Duties:

Take detailed history of vehicle performance or mechanical failure
Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed codes
Confirm repair is finished
Clear and detailed communication with the team
File appropriate documentation on each repair
Perform Exhaust System and Repair.
Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED is a plus
ASE certification preferred but not required
3+ years of automotive repair experience
Valid driver’s license
Excellent communication skills (Spanish fluency welcome)
Knowledge of tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs
Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
