Automotive Technician
Walker Automotive has an opening for an Automotive Technician.
Work schedule is Monday - Friday 8-4:30. NO WEEKENDS. Possible 4 day work week.
Earn $18-30+ per hour; depending on your experience and abilities. Time and a half for all hours over 40. Lots of overtime available if desired, but not required. Benefits: up to 3 weeks paid vacation, 7 paid Holidays, 3 paid sick days, free Life Insurance; uniforms supplied, shoe allowance. Company subsidized Health Insurance, Dental, 401K w/company match up to 3% weekly, Disability insurance, training. After hours use of the shop for your own and immediate family vehicles is permitted.
We are looking for an experienced technician with a background in a variety of mechanical service and repairs. Training and advancement opportunities. Great LED lighting; no working in the dark here.
Be able to pleasantly communicate with Service Advisors.
Be a team player and jump in where needed to keep the work flowing.
ASE & A/C Certification a plus but not necessary.
The ideal person would be hard-working, self-motivated, obsessed with fixing it right the first time, detail-oriented, and have a good attitude.
