Inside Sales Associate
About the job:
PMR (------------), a professional manufacturer representative sales organization, is seeking an energetic, upbeat and focused individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Associate. This position is an in-office position, Monday - Friday, located in our Oswego IL office.
The Inside Sales Associate's primary focus is in directing and developing vendor and customer relationships. Knowledgeably translate product specifications and successfully maintain customer base through superior customer service. Support and act as a resource for our sales team members. Independently process all purchase orders, manage defective merchandise issues, as well as manage customer shipment concerns alongside and in conjunction with our vendor partners. Manage products and product data on customer's web-based supplier portals.
Responsibilities
Primary point of contact for program and product related concerns
Manage product data and the set up and discontinuation of items in customer portals.
Create trade show forms, sell sheets, catalogs and signage in support of customer trade shows.
Become product knowledge expert for suppliers for with you are responsible.
Expeditiously and effectively process customer orders through vendor collaboration.
Independently handle requests for information, product data, product availability, pricing and shipping capabilities.
Process product sample orders and coordinate special handling and shipping specifications.
Periodic travel required to participate in customer trade shows, vendor sales meetings and meetings with customers at their facilities.
Qualifications
1 to 3 years inside sales/customer service experience
Associate degree or bachelor's degree is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workload.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL
Occasional overnight travel and weekends required in support of trade shows.
