Our contemporary orthodontic specialty practice located in North Potomac (Rockville) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic orthodontic assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality orthodontic treatment and superior customer service in a modern, high-tech practice environment. The ideal candidate should have a positive, team-oriented attitude, work well in a fast-paced environment, and have a love for working with children and young adults.

Responsibilities:

Clinical chairside assisting including banding/bonding, wire adjustments, patient communication/education,
sterilization and instrument processing.

Conducting iTero digital scanning, and other orthodontic related technologies.
Ensure proper infection control related functions, instrument sterilization, and set-up.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked orthodontic treatment room.
Requirements:

Prior experience in a dental or orthodontic office preferred but willing to train motivated candidate.
X-ray certification is a plus.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be friendly and energetic, and work well in a team-oriented setting.
