Occasionally they will need help on weekends when they have special events or date nights, along with some overnights and or travel as needed. but will let you know in advance and only a few times a year. They are looking for someone who is a quality person, someone who is intuitive, responsible, resourceful; loving, kind, and engaging. Someone who is proactive and intelligent requires little to no hand-holding and can be very gentle and caring with the boys. Someone who will play with them, not just sit on the sidelines; and is genuinely interested in the successful functioning of the household and the family's daily lives overall. Their boys are very outdoorsy and the family as a whole is very healthy and active! Someone who is a health enthusiast is a plus and they even offer free jiu-jitsu training for employees + immediate family members (value up to $2,600/year/person)! They are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and who will be a great role model and advocate for their children, someone who will help them evolve into empathetic, strong, and resilient young adults who will take responsibility for their actions and be active contributors in the household.

Your primary responsibility is for caring for the children, including feeding them, supporting them with learning/schoolwork, dressing, etc. You are expected to uphold the parents’ child communication and education/discipline philosophies and requests. You will be responsible for driving the children to and from school or activities when needed and preparing their meals; driving to school, preschool, sports, etc. You will schedule children’s activities, camps, and outings. Full disclosure, the boys have 2 cousins (9 and 7) that they are very close with. There will be many times you watch all 4 of them together. They play very well together and are typically easier to manage when they’re with one another. You will be responsible for keeping the children safe in and around our pool (both can swim, although the 4-year-old still requires supervision). When time permits, it may also include grocery shopping for the family (we have another person who assists with this). If the parents have to travel together, remaining at the home with the children and taking care of them while they are gone. They want someone who is willing to care for sick children when needed (excluding COVID concerns if an issue for you). You will also be responsible for the caretaking of the family dog or pets. This includes feeding the dog daily, or any other pet caretaking for our dog (picking up or taking the dog to the vet or grooming, flea treatments). Must have your own reliable vehicle to preferably use while on the job, and gas mileage reimbursement is provided.

You will also take on Home Management Responsibilities which include laundry (including kids' bedding when needed and all towels -Approx. 3 times a week). Adult bedding once a week can be done by a house cleaner. Tidying/organizing the house as needed daily, making veggie juice for the family once a week. Helping with hosting events/entertaining (Occasionally) may request occasional weekend support for things like birthday parties, etc. You will help schedule house maintenance or routine cleanings (carpets, washing machines, appliances, painting, etc. – shouldn’t need much as it is a brand-new home). Responsible for organizing the home when time permits. House sitting when they travel (or coordinating house sitting when gone). You will help with sorting/organizing/donating children’s clothing and toys and schedule drinking water bottle pickups/drop-offs. You are also responsible for watering trees/plants in the house (approx. 4 times a week). Some backyard maintenance or pickup (watering plants) or scheduling gardeners for needed lawn maintenance/pool maintenance (will have weekly landscapers. Dry cleaning drop-off/pickups, errands, and returns. + Any other needed assistance/maintenance for home/family when time permits. Please note that they have a house cleaner for deep cleaning once a week and they have someone who food preps for the parents and some kids’ meals). Your Personal Assistant Responsibilities include coordinating schedules for the parents and the children, booking travel accommodations, appointments, etc. If the capacity and motivation permit, more assisting and even project management opportunities may be made available to you!
