Job Description
The day for the Imaging and Repair Technician is driven by the Open Order Sales Report to fill current orders, forecast, and prepare future orders. Our clients are in the Education sector, but we keep busy year-round. Days are spent filling orders for our clients by imaging laptops, provisioning Chromebooks, repairing and assessing reclamations, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The Imaging and Repair Technician will report to the IT Team Lead.
Core Responsibilities
• Image and box computers for shipping.
• Package computer kits for shipping.
• Assist shipping department when needed.
• Receive and process reclaimed laptops and Chromebooks.
• Repair laptops and Chromebooks.
• Kit and Provision Chromebooks.
• Assist wherever needed.
Requirements
• Experience repairing and imaging laptops.
• HP and Lenovo certifications. (Company provided training.)
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Must be able to work independently and within a team environment.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Communicate with supervisors and peers to effectively solve issues.
• Experience with common software and operating systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional IT Certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus.
