*Job Description:*
You’ll be assisting with the production of large, sustainably-molded products (such as water tanks) using our solar molding systems. Our indoor/outdoor test site is in the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority, http://nelha.hawaii.gov/. The work includes running production equipment, testing and repairing our advanced molding systems, communicating with engineers and programmers (onsite and off), and interacting with local vendors and customers. The work is physically challenging, interesting, and performed in a unique work environment – mostly in the open air under the sun.
*Qualifications:*
Strong ability to work independently, and prioritize both short and long-term goals.
Strong ability to coordinate with team members - both written, and oral communication skills
Strong ability to coordinate with vendors and customers
Strong ability to be given tasks and deliver quality work
Experience with manufacturing processes
Experience with electrical and power system diagnosing
Open to direct interaction with other engineering disciplines such as electrical and software
Ability to write clearly and document tests and procedures
Ability to use tools (i.e. hand drill, miter saw, angle grinder, etc.)
Ability to lift 50 pounds
