At Rowe Camps, a non-profit summer camp and conference center in Rowe, MA, we aim to empower youth, build community, and have fun. Camp provides a safe inclusive environment where creative, and activist campers come to learn how to live in an affirming community. Through intentional activities, campers learn the skills and mindsets to discover who they are and how to make meaningful contributions to their communities. Join the Rowe Center with this entry-level food service position. Kitchen team members assist in preparing and serving scratch made meals and baked goods for large groups, as well as cleaning and maintaining the kitchen. The right person for this position has a genuine interest in preparing quality food and the ability to fully understand and apply all health code standards. This position requires teamwork and the ability to think on your feet and follow directions. Physical stamina, positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure are also critical to success. As you will be working around and amongst children, applicants will be required to submit to a criminal background check and will be expected to adhere to strict COVID-19 safety protocol.
