Amazing HNW Westlake family is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT HEAD NANNY to grow long-term with their family and work alongside the second nanny/household manager(position also available) to balance care for their 4 children ( 5 and 1-year-old daughters, and 4 and 2-year-old boys). The family is moving from D.C. to Austin and will be replacing their current beloved local nanny and will be looking for someone who will be comfortable working with the previous nanny to guide them for a short period of time to acclimate to the household. The 2 boys(ages 2 and 4) are in preschool Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm, and the oldest Daughter is in school Monday - Friday 7:40-2:40. Primary care will be for the 1-year-old daughter during the day and it would be extremely rare that either nanny will have full-care of all 4 children at any given time.
The lead nanny’s hours are 7 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday with flexibility and willingness to travel with the family within the continental U.S., 5-6 times a year. Most of the family trips are 2-3 days. Spanish speaking is a bonus. Both parents have demanding jobs outside of the home and will need a nanny who can have autonomy while caring for the children. Flexibility is key in this position because the family schedule can change frequently, but the mom is very communicative and informs the staff as early as possible. There are 2 hypoallergenic dogs(Cavapoos) in the home that need minimal care (ie: letting them outside) during the day. Mom also has a personal assistant who will be in and around the home on occasion. The candidate needs to be a team player and understand working in a fully-staffed home.
Duties will include all things childcare, driving the children to and from activities, helping with the kid's laundry, cooking for the children when mom is not able to, and light cleaning. The family will have a pool at their home with a retractable cover. The candidate should be a competent swimmer and understands swim safety. The family has a dedicated family Suburban for the nanny to use for childcare purposes. Mom prefers to take the children to school herself but may need the nanny to assist on occasion.
The start date is July-August, but the family is willing to hire a candidate earlier if it is required to secure the perfect nanny. The family has no vaccination preference at this time. The candidate must be willing to sign an NDA. Benefits include PTO + Sick Leave + Paid Holidays. Pay $25-35/hr.
