Master Overbey’s Summer Sports Camp is now hiring for an Assistant Team Leader!
Our motto is "We are the BEST!" This means that we have the best kids, the best company, and of course, the BEST directors, Team Leaders Assistants!
Some of the responsibilities of this position include:
-Receiving and checking in children during the morning drop-off period
- Running snack time
- Supervising structured activities
- Preparing kids for their daily sport classes (each age group getting where they need to be, etc.)
- Running indoor games and activities
-Dealing with first-level student discipline
- Cleaning the facility along with the rest of the team at the end of the shift, and keeping it clean and orderly during the day
- Helping get children checked out at pickup time each afternoon
- Filling in for a driver for field trips when necessary
- Having fun with the kids, while maintaining a structured and orderly atmosphere
Requirements for the job are:
- Must have a clean criminal background and pass a background screening.
- Must be age 18 or older.
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have experience in a position of authority with children
- Must truly love working with children!
- Current CPR/1st-Aid certification or willingness to attend a class for certification
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude for success!
- Must have access to a smart phone for regular email/text communications
- If you can teach gymnastics, tumbling, breakdancing/hip-hop, that is a definite plus! (But NOT required.)
This awesome summer job will have morning and afternoon shifts, possible full-time shift, with opportunity to work in our After-School Program after the summer.
