The Bell person works in a strong team environment with other Bell staff and with Front Office staff. The Bell person escorts guests and their luggage to and from guest rooms efficiently and familiarizes guests with room features and hotel services. The Bell person is also required to valet park guest cars and, therefore, must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record. The Bell person must also be knowledgeable about resources close to the hotel, directions and general information about Boston.
This is a key front of the line guest service position. The ideal candidate would possess a genuine desire to assist others in a fast-paced environment. Communication skills are essential, and the candidate must be articulate, well groomed, polite and polished. Although previous hotel experience is helpful, it is not necessary. The right attitude and desire to provide service are key requirements.
