Nanny
Busy working parents seek a FULL-TIME NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to help care for their 6-year-old boy/girl twins and 3.5-year-old boy and keep their household running smoothly. They are looking for a structured, loving nanny who also desires house managerial tasks and even some executive assistant tasks (e.g. shipping items, gift shopping/gift wrapping, etc.). The schedule is typically from 7:15am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, but they are open to providing an afternoon off per week. Hours average 45-50 per week.
The children are sweet, active, and fun to be around! They love being outdoors, playing sports, and doing art. The twins are in school every day from 8am until 2pm/4pm. The youngest is in school 3 days a week and will soon be in school 5 days a week from 9am-1pm starting in August. The nanny will be responsible for taking the children to and from school, as well as to after-school activities. A family car is provided. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record!
Duties include getting the kids ready and off to school, afterschool pickup, helping with dishes, packing nutritious lunches for the children, dinner/meal prep some nights, and some house management tasks while kids are at school during the day (e.g. shipping packages, accepting deliveries, meeting plumbers/electricians at the house, taking inventory, managing vendors, laundry, grocery shopping, etc.). Once all three children are in school full-time, there will be more of an emphasis on house management tasks - keeping the home orderly, managing deliveries, coordinating children's schedules, etc. They have frequent housekeeping services, so there is no heavy cleaning. Should the candidate desire to roll up their sleeves and really dive into the house managerial role (running job-related errands for parents, organizing kids’ clothes and toys/books, anticipating household needs and stocking household items, etc.), parents are happy to compensate at the highest range per hour including hours when all kids are in school.
Parents are business owners and work in and out of the home. They travel as a family to beaches in South Carolina (5 hours from the home) during spring break and a few times in the summer. The nanny is more than welcome to travel with them (and have time off to experience the town and beach), but it is not a requirement.
They seek a nanny who is a go-getter and a self-starter. Someone who takes initiative is patient and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate is loving, but firm when needed. They prefer candidates who can practice gentle parenting. Must be vaccinated for COVID and the flu.
Pay is $25-30+, depending on experience and desired duties. benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. Start date is ASAP!
