*Encouraging the children in self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
*Assist children with their daily living activities by helping to feed them, diapering and/or potty training and dressing them. Teach them general hygiene.
*Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean, organized, and safe.
*Hold a daily circle time with the children at developmentally appropriate levels and initiate activities to encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
*Participate with children in recreational activities, such as games, crafts, etc., and weather permitting outdoor play
*Mediating conflict between students.
*Observe and monitor children’s play activities.
*Model appropriate behaviors.
*Maintain daily open communication with parents as required.
*Report any suspected abuse or issues to Director.
*Maintain confidentiality
*Attend staff meetings
