We are looking for individuals who have passion and pride in serving great food to great people with a smile on their face. Our ideal employee is someone who is dedicated, responsible, time-flexible, and has a positive attitude. You will need to be able to work under pressure and learn quickly.

Other things to note:

-experience in the food industry is a plus, but not required (we will train you)

-flexibility with work hours is a very large plus

-reliable transportation is a must to get to work on time

-you will be working on your feet and may need to lift items up to 30 pounds.

-employment begins at minimum wage but you also receive tips for your shift

Sunny Blue is a laid-back, family-owned company looking to provide the public with the greatest omusubi (Japanese rice balls filled with a variety of different ingredients), and various Asian side-dishes one can find. We try our best to source our ingredients from local farmers in an effort to show our support for our community. Though we pride ourselves on our warm, welcoming environment and family-owned roots, we have aspirations to expand and open even more Sunny Blue stores in an effort to spread the knowledge and flavor of Japanese omusubi.
