Literacy Specialist 

Immediate opening for Literacy Specialist/Tutor for children and adults with reading/writing challenges. 

Literacy Specialist Requirements:
• have experience working with children
• be available for mandatory literacy meetings on Wednesday mornings
• be available to work in the Del Mar office
• have excellent speaking, reading and writing skills
• be organized

• be able to give a 2-year commitment
• provide administrative assistance to the Executive Assistant/Office Manager
• be somewhat flexible with hours and be willing to work Saturdays and weekday evenings until 7:30 pm for at least 2 years.                    

This is a professional environment where professional attire is required.

Education:
• BA or BS

Salary:
Part-time position starts at 8 – 10 hours per week and could potentially grow up to 35 hours by the following semester. Salary base is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour and could potentially grow to $30.00 per hour.  This is a professional environment where professional attire is required.
