Swim Instructor
Summary

Duties and Responsibilities
· Making sure everyone is safe.
· Engaging, caring for and teaching your swimmers.
· Being a team player.
· Completion of required paid Swimm with Timm training.
· Following the Swimm with Timm Curriculum and being focused on children’s happiness, well-being and progression through our program.
Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· Must have CPR, AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding Certificate - we can certify you
· Must have clean CORI and SORI background check
· Ability to recognize students who may need assistance
· Ability to recognize and remedy hazardous and dangerous situations
· Ability to swim in shallow and deep water and tread water
· Ability to work independently and possess energy and enthusiasm
· Ability to demonstrate skills as required for class content and use teaching aids such as kickboards, diving rings, lifejackets, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 3-5 years of experience on a competitive swim team
· 1-3 years of experience as a swim instructor
· 1-3 years working with children
Pay Scale
. All employees will receive 15/hour while training (Up to 80 hours of training). After training, your pay will be based on how many levels you will be teaching.
. 1 level= $20 per hour
. 2 levels = $24 per hour
. 3 levels =$26 per hour
. 4 levels = $28 per hour
. 5 levels = $30 per hour
Our levels include,
Parent/Child, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Pre-Swim Team
This position will also be a great fit if you have experience working as a Teacher, Day Care worker, Nanny, Camp Councilor, or have experience in early childhood education! This position can be either Full-time or Part-time.
Swimm with Timm provides a portion of premium coverage for group medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits to employees working an average of 20+ hours per week after 90 days.
