Nanny
Wonderful parents in Bergen County seek an experienced FULL-TIME CAREGIVER for their 9-month-old twin boys from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. They prefer a live-out nanny but live-in is an option for the right candidate. If living in, the nanny will be provided with a private room and bathroom.
The family is a 5-minute walk from the NJ transit Wesmont station and an 11-minute walk to a NY Port Authority bus stop. Their home is a 20-30 minute commute to NYC depending on traffic. The nanny is not required to have a vehicle.
Responsibilities include complete care of the twins, including bottle and meal prep, babies’ laundry, teaching age-appropriate developmental/educational activities, and engaging (reading and playing with music) the boys. The family seeks a nanny who will grow with them long-term and help with all childcare-related duties as the children grow. The ideal candidate is patient, kind, warm, reliable, fun-loving, and respects boundaries. Someone who has good values and can also teach and share important values with the children.
The boys are active and quick learners. Thus, they need a nanny who can keep up with them and challenge them in a positive way. They are both very sweet babies and do well with a structured schedule. It is important to us that this person is loving, kindhearted, and gentle but also firm when appropriate. Someone who is well-mannered and will share these behaviors with the children. Must be vaccinated for COVID.
Benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. Pay is $25 plus overtime. Start date is ASAP (early-mid December).
