New England Bioassay Inc. (NEB) A leading woman owned Aquatic Toxicity Laboratory located in Manchester; CT has a full-time seasonal Environmental Lab Technician position available. NEB would also consider A part-time candidate. This position is temporary and would start in June and end in September. Recent college graduate or current college students with a background in environmental science or aquatic related field preferred. NEB tests wastewaters to protect against environmental pollution affecting aquatic organisms. Duties to include aquatic toxicity test set up, wet chemical analysis of wastewaters, and culturing aquatic species. Candidates must be willing to share rotating weekend/holiday lab coverage with existing staff. This position also requires good vision for counting small aquatic species, the ability to stand most of the day and some heavy lifting of water samples. Please indicate availability on resume.
