Nanny
High-profile clients near Lakeway seek a nanny for their 6-year-old daughter with ADHD and a baby on the way, expected to arrive this month (October). Their eldest (6 -year-old) daughter is curious, loving, energetic, and is looking forward to someone who can help her transition to be a big sister! She is in school from 8 am-3/5 pm M-F, and has afterschool activities including jiu jit su, gymnastics, as well as speech/occupational therapy weekly for her ADHD. Nanny will be required to take her to and from school and/or activities if the parents cannot. Must have a safe, reliable car and clean driving record. They look for their nanny to come up with planned activities to keep her entertained and busy, while also helping with her development. They seek a true team player to not only care for their children but to also keep their home running smoothly by helping run occasional errands, meal prep, and laundry for the children. Ideally, the candidate is flexible around the hours due to the nature of the parent's work schedule.
Guaranteed pay for 40 hours/week whether all 40 hours are worked. Must be flexible to work occasional evenings, weekends, overnights, and travel with the family. Their preference is for the nanny to live out primarily but have the ability to stay overnight occasionally when parents work late or have evening events. Local candidates are preferred; Relocation is not provided. The ideal candidate is active and able to keep up with a growing family with young children. Must be a strong swimmer, as the family has a pool!
They are an easy-going household and like to keep a peaceful home filled with good vibes and love. Parents are hands-on and love to spend time with their children when they are home and do not have work obligations. They would love someone who knows when to step back and help in other areas of the home in order to allow for 1:1 time. Pay is $25-30/hr gross via payroll with room to grow. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
Ultimately, they are really looking for someone who is detail-oriented and proactive with their family. Someone who is able to anticipate mom's needs or at the very least stay on top of the master list of duties that we will provide is imperative! Having someone have had newborn experience is also a must. A newborn care specialist would certainly be a bonus. Looking for someone who brings great energy into their home and who has a great work ethic and can-do attitude! Someone who loves children and is passionate about helping them thrive is paramount!
