Operations Assistant
This is an excellent entry level position for a person who is sharp, motivated, organized, good with computers, good with written and verbal communication, and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. We're a very small and growing company that sells surgical equipment. We need a part time Warehouse Operations Assistant to assist our Operations Manager in and around our warehouse, and this job will likely go full time by the end of the year.

Because we're small we need this person to do many things.
There are periods of fast paced activity where a lot of moving parts need to be managed, and there will be periods of low activity where secondary tasks should be performed.
To start, this position would be responsible to:
Receive deliveries
Prep new items for photography and online listing
Keep the warehouse orderly and clean
Manage cleaning & shipping supplies
Package and box sold items for shipment
Arrange shipment through our online portal
Palletize larger items
Make deliveries / pickups for some items
Schedule multiple inbound deliveries remotely
Applicant should be:
Detail oriented
Very Organized
Good with direction
Good at multi-tasking
Fairly fluent in Excel, Word, & Outlook
Pretty good working with computers, doing research online and entering data
Good driving record
Desirable but not required experience:
Driving with a trailer
eBay/Shopify ecommerce/recommerce
Warehouse management experience
Multi-lingual
Fork Lift Experience / Certification
There is the opportunity to make commissions as well, for motivated individuals who master their initial responsibilities and want to grow into a better position.
For this position, we will do a background check and a driving history check. Because of the nature of our work, all operations are under recorded video surveillance.
