We are looking for an experienced Accountant/Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our
fantastic team and work the hours that work for you. We aim to get the work done and

remote/hybrid role allows flexibility and convenience. The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will
own the accounting roles and responsibilities, reporting directly to the CEO and
Business Consultant. We are looking for a strategic thought leader with solid

handling the day-to-day transactions but playing a role in the execution of the

------------. Responsibilities
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in
QuickBooks
• Prepare, Enter, and post Journal Entries
• Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts
• Bi-Monthly preparation and process of Payroll in the Paychex system for hourly,
salaried, and contract employees, including preparation of journal entries and
posting Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and procedures to
analyze financial information for the preparation of financial reports for the month
end
• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual
improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed
• Vendor and Customer Maintenance and Management in QuickBooks
• Manage Chart of Accounts
• Work with CEO for various insurance and benefit renewals, including vendor
selection, enrollment, and audits. Manage and maintain all EDD, Worker’s
Compensation, and all business Audits and Questionnaires
• Preparation of annual 1099’s
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Balance
Sheet, Profit and Loss, and Statement of Cash Flows and ratios
• Preparation of ad hoc financial reports, including but not limited to Budget,
Proforma, Forecast, Cost analysis
• Assist in the preparation of information and documents for income tax
preparation
• Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable, including management of semimonthly check cycle
• Cash Management, including review of cash flow, daily cash reports, and online
banking accounts
• Accounts receivable, billing, maintaining customer ledger including entering
payments and managing collections
• Bank Reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
• Management of all employee data in Paychex
• Other duties as assigned by CEO and Business Consulting
• Project Accounting and Cost Analysis, including preparation of reporting for
proposals and ongoing financial reporting for closed projects, including project
accounting
• Attend various company meetings as required by Management

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Proficient in MS Office
• Advanced skills in Excel & QuickBooks
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Staff Accountant/Full-Charge
Bookkeeper
• High-level verbal and written communication skills and etiquette
• High level of attention to detail
• Exemplary planning abilities, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize with a high degree of efficiency
• Discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment required
• Active listener with the ability to follow directions and work independently
Pay range is dependent on experience. Flexible hours
