Do you love working with children and are you looking for a fun, part-time job where you can be creative?

We are seeking a Traveling Art Teacher to join our team for the 2022-2023 school year! We are a traveling art program that teaches on-site at various Montessori schools in North Austin and Cedar Park.

*This is a part-time job offering 4-10 hours a week.

We are looking for someone who can teach in the afternoons Monday-Friday (depending on class enrollment). We typically have 1-2 classes a day. Curriculum, weekly lesson plans and paid training provided.

Teachers must be able to commit to a 12 week fall session starting on August 29th. Sessions run seasonally with a small break between sessions. Class times vary depending upon location but typically fall within 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm and repeat each week.

Must have a love for children and be enthusiastic, outgoing, creative and punctual. Must have experience working with children ages 3-6. Art skills and art history knowledge not required, we will train you.

Responsibilities:

-Manage and educate students ages 3-6 in a classroom setting
-Meet with another teacher once a week to pick up art supplies for your classes
-Provide your own transportation to get to the schools
-Maintain positive relationships with students and school leaders
-Make sure the children have fun creating in a safe environment

Qualifications:

-Previous preschool teaching experience
-Strong classroom management skills
-Strong leadership qualities

Hourly pay range: $20-$30
