Summary Description:

Combines marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance One Challenge’s social media presences, including interacting with stakeholders, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for fund raising. Works with Communications and across departments to create innovative social media campaigns.
Responsibilities:
1. Creates and schedules content, including text posts, video, and images for use on social media. This can include gathering content from OC mission workers and associates.
2. Promotes products, services, and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with an organization’s brand and social media strategy.
3. Increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Potentially grows and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms.
4. Interacts with stakeholders and deals with stakeholder’s enquiries.
5. Provides training and guidance to team members and mission workers on social media implementation best practices and strategies.
6. Develops new social media strategies and campaigns.
7. Collects data and analyzes interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
8. Research and monitors activity of similar organizations. Interacts across platforms with likeminded organizations and individuals.
9. Collaborates with colleagues across departments to ensure branding is consistent.
Education & Experience:
• College degree and/or experience in Communications or Marketing
• One to Two Years of Experience with Social Media Management
• Experience in Content Creation, Copywriting, Graphic Design
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Attention to Detail, Self-Motivated, Creative Problem-Solving Skills
• Experience with Major Social Media Platforms
