Job Description
American Integrated Security Group (AISG) specializes in the design and deployment of open platform integrated systems including IP video surveillance, access control, security intrusion, perimeter protection, and a full range of related wireless security technologies.

Position Summary

This technical role requires knowledge of installation, programming, system start-up/check-out certification, and related customer training on assigned Security, Access Control, Commercial Burglar Alarm, and CCTV. Projects will range in size and vary in complexity. You will also act as a key interface for technical support with the customer to maximize customer satisfaction.

Role and Responsibilities

Install, program, test, and repair a variety of security systems
Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedure
Interpret manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and repair equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
Onsite maintenance of access control installations and replacement of peripheral devices such as card access and CCTV systems
Troubleshoot hardware and software, analyze performance and identify malfunctions
Complete all documents pertaining to service performed
Skill and Experience Requirements

Excellent customer service skills
Solid technical skills with electronic security systems experience
Exceptional programming, troubleshooting, and IT/Networking skills
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Education and Background Requirements

An associate degree is desirable in electronics or has relevant field experience
Advanced computer skills
Industry and product-specific certifications and licenses are a plus (OSHA)
Must maintain a valid driver's license
Flexibility with work schedule
Background and drug tests required for eligibility for employment
