Are you an aspiring law enforcement or security career professional?

We are seeking a Security Officer & Protection Specialist to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. Special assignments in dignitary protection and event security are available to those who qualify.

Qualifications

· Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, self-discipline, and uphold ethical behavior.

· Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, additional training will be provided if hired.

· Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

· Licensing requirements are subject to state or local laws and regulations. Assistance in obtaining licensing will be provided.

· Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields, a plus.

· Ability to communicate clearly in person, on phone, radio, and text

· Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.

· A valid driver’s license and good driving record.

· Ability to stand or walk for long periods

· Familiarity with security equipment

· Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

· Provide exceptional customer service

· Remain alert and aware of surroundings

· Secure facility perimeter and designated areas

· Monitor and report unusual or suspicious activities

· Prevent incidents by providing a physical presence

· Investigate disturbances and prepare incident reports

· Follow and implement company safety and security procedures

· Patrol premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules

· Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts

· Request and coordinate with emergency personnel for high-risk situations

· Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises

· Detect signs of intrusion and ensure perimeter security of fences, doors, windows, gates

· May be exposed to high levels of noise, crowds, or weather and temperature variations


You will be working and training with a DOJ and DHS certified security and counterterrorism tactical instructor.
