The Learning Trail is accepting applications for Lead Preschool Teacher for the 2022/23 school year. The preschool is located in a fully-equipped, self-contained classroom in the Nature Trail mobile home community, serving a Latinx population, free of charge. The Teacher must speak English and Spanish. The program runs 4 mornings per week for 3 hours, plus additional time spent with parents, for a total of 30 hours per week. The salary range is $25,000 to $30,000, depending upon qualifications and experience. Some experience teaching young children is required. The maximum class size is 10 and a full-time aide is present. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for planning daily lessons to promote kindergarten readiness, including language, reading, math, self-care, and social and emotional development.
