Title: Solar Assembly & General Production Technician

Position Summary & Purpose
Harness Energy is looking for a full-time assembly/production technician whose primary responsibility will be to
inventory, build, and program systems and devices in support of wind and solar field operations. This individual will play
the role of a collaborative teammate to both internal and external parties. They will also act in accordance with Harness
culture and core values such that strategic partnerships and valuable relationships are developed and established.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

Responsibilities:
• Receive and inventory incoming equipment
• Build and test solar stations
• Program modems and data loggers
• Verify successful modem communications
• Program and test instruments using a variety of software
• Source, fabricate, and assemble materials for solar stations
• Source and compile materials to stock field job boxes
• Receive, organize and restore decommissioned solar stations
• Facilitate regular Return Merchandise Authorizations with manufacturers
• Incorporate feedback from field crew debrief meetings
• Work in collaboration with traveling field technicians, Harness management and manufacturing partners to
increase installation efficiency and quality
• Operate machinery such as a forklift and a chop saw
• Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in the warehouse
• Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery
• Receive and document merchandise for delivery or shipment
• Assist with training of newly employed workers�

Requirements:
• High school degree or equivalent
• Able to pass drug and physical fitness test
• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently
• Team-oriented - cooperative and collaborative
Compensation & Benefits
This “at will” full-time employee position offers an hourly rate of $18/hour for 40 hrs/week. This position requires the
candidate to report to our Niwot company headquarters.
After a 60 day probationary period, new employees can expect:
