Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Adult)

Location: Bronx, NY

Position Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Shift & Schedule:

• Day Shift

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• 3 × 11.5-hour shifts

• 34.5 hours/week

Pay Rate:

• Local: $2,400–$2,415/week
  
  
• Travel: $3,000–$3,095/week

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing experience and the ability to manage high-acuity patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to adult emergency room patients.

• Perform patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.

• Initiate IV access and perform phlebotomy.

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments.

• Assist with conscious sedation procedures.

• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes.

• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow patient safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) or higher

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience

• Strong IV insertion and phlebotomy skills

• Experience with conscious sedation

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

• TNCC certification preferred
