Travel RN – CVICU | Lodi, CA | 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Lodi, California. This is a night shift position with an Auto Offer, ideal for nurses experienced in post-operative cardiac care starting Day 1.

Position Details:

• Specialty: RN – CVICU / Medical ICU

• Location: Lodi

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts)

• Hours: 36–48 hours per week

• Unit Bed Count: 10 beds

• Patient Ratio: 2:1

• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule

• Floating: May float to MS/Telemetry or task in ED

• Call: Not required

Job Summary:
The CVICU RN provides coordinated, high-quality nursing care for critically ill patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, intervention implementation, and evaluation of outcomes. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, supervises nursing staff, and promotes a safe and healing environment for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and analyze clinical data to determine care needs

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Provide post-operative cardiac care and critical care interventions

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery

• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care

• Delegate tasks and coordinate with healthcare team members

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – State of California

• BLS or CPR certification required

• Post-operative CVICU experience required (Day 1 readiness)

• BSN preferred

• Acute care experience preferred
