Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Solders/Brazers for projects located in the Oak Creek, WI area. This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is $24/hour based on experience plus $125/day worked per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Follow prints and schematics to position components in the circuit in the correct order
• Perform brazing and soldering in all positions with proper penetration
• Understand how to use a reducing atmosphere in the tube during brazing
• Clean flux and oxides from the outside of tubes before brazing
• Perform leak testing using pressure decay
• Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump,
• Perform vacuum decay testing, and charge systems with refrigerant
• Brazing with Silfos 5 or Silver Bearing Alloys

Responsibilities

• All PPE
• Must have cutoff saw & tube cutters, oxyacetylene torch, and nitrogen bottles
