This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual looking to grow into a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) role while gaining hands-on experience in the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility.

Working directly alongside the Administrator, you'll become a key member of the leadership team, helping ensure the facility operates efficiently each day. You'll serve as a trusted operational partner by coordinating administrative initiatives, supporting department leaders, assisting with Human Resources and payroll functions, and helping maintain seamless operations whenever the Administrator is away from the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Administrator in planning, organizing, implementing, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility.

  • Collaborate with department directors to promote operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

  • Help oversee Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, personnel records, and staff engagement.

  • Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and payroll-related documentation.

  • Support the Administrator with regulatory surveys, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and special projects.

  • Prepare reports, correspondence, meeting materials, and operational documents.

  • Monitor daily operations and help ensure continuity of leadership throughout the facility.

  • Serve as an administrative resource for department managers, helping resolve operational issues and keeping projects moving forward.

  • Foster exceptional customer service for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

  • Promote compliance with all facility policies, state and federal regulations, and best practices.

  • Participate in facility meetings, leadership rounds, and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a similar field required.

  • Individuals interested in obtaining their New York State Nursing Home Administrator License are encouraged to apply.

  • Supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

  • Knowledge of New York State Department of Health long-term care regulations is a plus.

  • Leadership mentoring and professional development.

  • Opportunity to gain experience in every aspect of nursing home administration.

  • A collaborative leadership team committed to helping you grow and succeed.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: $55,000–$65,000, based on experience.

  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO).

  • Health and dental insurance.
