DESCRIPTION:

An acclaimed Mediterranean restaurant group seeks an Events and Catering Coordinator to own their off-premise catering and live-fire event experiences from first inquiry through breakdown, based out of their Northern California office in Campbell, CA. The Coordinator is the primary point of contact for catering clients, translating each vision into airtight logistics and leading the on-site team that brings the experience to life. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the operational side of events and takes pride in making a complex production look effortless. Must be authorized to work in the US.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in catering, off-premise events, or restaurant private dining
• Genuine strength in logistics and organization, with the ability to juggle equipment, transport, staffing, and timelines across several events at once
• Experience building Banquet Event Orders and briefing kitchen and service teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proposals that are clear and on-brand and event instructions that are impossible to misread
• Composure under pressure and the judgment to solve problems on site
• Comfort operating against revenue targets and KPIs, with CRM discipline (Pipedrive or comparable)
• Working knowledge of OpenTable, Toast POS, and BEO formats
• Valid driver's license and comfort overseeing load-in and load-out at off-site venues
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification, or willingness to obtain one
• Availability for evenings, weekends, select holidays, and travel to off-site venues
• Spanish language skills, a plus
