Temporary Household Coordinator Job Description

About: Mosaic Support Services, Inc. (MSSI) provides 24/7 residential care to kids with intellectual/developmental disabilities, who benefit from support with possible: emotional self-regulation challenges, anger management, development of self-regulation skills, the formation and maintenance of healthy relationships, compliance with probation/diversion plans and/or substance abuse prevention, medication management, health care, and/or access to mental health services.

Our residential group home is a specialized behavioral home that empowers staff with the knowledge and supports necessary to continuously improve, grow, and assist residents in leading quality lives—based on their own definitions and interests.

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and dependable person who is self-motivated and has experience with housekeeping tasks (such as laundry, cleaning, organizing, shopping), who can assist with driving residents and staff, and who can assist with preparing healthy and tasty meals!

Note: This position does not include working directly with kids as part of the staffing ratio!

We are located in Santa Cruz, and our team is a professional but fun bunch dedicated to improving lives!

We are searching for the right person to work 30 hours per week (which is full time for our agency), which includes mandatory weekends. The ideal candidate must be able to pass fingerprint background clearance (FBI, DOJ, CACI). Please see below for more details.

Job Duties:

a. Clean, disinfect, and sanitize the home

a. May include laundry, organizing, and deep cleans too

b. May assist with grocery shopping and menu planning

c. May assist with meal preparation

d. Driving team members and residents

e. Additional household duties may be required

Requirements:

a. Must be at least 18 years of age

b. Must be able to pass full criminal record clearance through Guardian (DOJ, FBI, CACI)

c. Experience with cleaning, sanitation, food safety a plus

d. Clear driving record and/or ability to pass agency insurance broker qualifications to drive agency vehicles

Job Type: Full-time (Temporary with Opportunity to Become Permanent)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week, based on agency needs (weekends/holidays are mandatory per agency needs)
