HR Onboarding & Recruiting Team Lead

Location: Monsey, NY
Salary: $40–$45/hour
Schedule: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on HR Onboarding & Recruiting Team Lead to oversee daily recruiting and onboarding operations for a high-volume caregiver workforce. This role is responsible for driving team performance, ensuring compliance, and maintaining efficient hiring workflows. The Team Lead will manage a small team while actively optimizing processes and supporting strategic hiring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage HR Coordinators and a Field Recruiter

  • Lead team meetings, track KPIs, and ensure accountability

  • Oversee full onboarding lifecycle, ensuring compliance and timely completion

  • Review applications for accuracy and regulatory standards

  • Manage onboarding steps including orientation, exams, and fingerprinting

  • Monitor workflows, identify gaps, and implement process improvements

  • Maintain tracking systems (e.g., Smartsheets) for visibility and execution

  • Oversee job postings and candidate pipeline across sourcing channels

  • Track recruiting metrics (conversion rates, time-to-hire, pipeline health)

  • Partner with Operations and leadership on hiring needs and priorities

Qualifications and Must-Haves

  • 3–5+ years of recruiting and onboarding experience (healthcare/home care strongly preferred)

  • 1–2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role

  • Strong knowledge of onboarding compliance and documentation processes

  • Experience with ATS, HRIS, Indeed, and workflow tools (Smartsheet or similar)

  • Ability to manage high-volume hiring in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to track and improve KPIs

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
