Shift & Schedule: Mixed Evenings & Nights | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM & 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 40 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays
Pay Rate:
Local: $28/hr
Travel: $31/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an exciting Contract opportunity in Falmouth, MA. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting the nursing team in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.

  • Obtain, record, and report vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition.

  • Answer call lights and assist patients with mobility, transfers, transportation, and wheelchair assistance.

  • Provide catheter care, oral care, nail care, reposition bedridden patients, and maintain patient comfort.

  • Clean patient rooms, change bed linens, and maintain a safe, organized environment.

  • Prepare food trays, assist with feeding, and accurately document food and fluid intake.

  • Sterilize equipment and supplies while following infection prevention and safety protocols.

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and protect the confidentiality of resident health information.

  • Communicate patient concerns and condition changes promptly to the nursing team.

  • Perform additional patient care and departmental duties as assigned while promoting quality and compassionate care.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required in accordance with Massachusetts state regulations.

  • Minimum 10th-grade education required.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate patient care.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as a team member.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

  • Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and comply with patient rights and HIPAA requirements.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and meet the physical and sensory requirements of the position.

  • Professional, dependable, compassionate, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
