Job Title: Buyer II SAAS Various Locations Available: El Segundo, CA / Kent, WA / Florida (Merrit Island, Cape Canaveral, or Melbourne) Type: Contract / On-Site Compensation: $70 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities related to software services, SaaS subscriptions, and IT/ET hardware.
  • Review and negotiate software licensing agreements and SaaS contracts, focusing on key terms to manage cost and risk.
  • Utilize procurement or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa to process requisitions and purchase orders, managing a high volume of transactions monthly.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings and improved contractual terms, demonstrating effective negotiation strategies and supplier management skills.

Requirements

  • Proven procurement or buying experience, particularly in sourcing software services, SaaS, and IT hardware.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating software licensing and SaaS contracts, with a focus on licensing models, renewal clauses, and support terms.
  • Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa, with the ability to handle a significant transaction volume.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier negotiations resulting in cost savings or better terms.
