Consumer Public Relations and Digital Marketing Firm is looking for a qualified intern to join an entrepreneurial/start-up environment this summer. The intern will gain first hand experience working with national clients, as well as pitching local and national press and daily bloggers. Responsibilities include Tweeting on behalf of the client, writing press releases, pitching, attending marketing strategy meetings, and assisting the owner with public relations for the firm. Additionally, the intern will get to experience all that goes into running and operating a small business, with daily interaction with some of the most creative & talented entrepreneurs in DC. Based on performance, the intern will be evaluated and considered for a full time position at the end of the summer.

Requirements:
-Excellent attention to detail
-Self starter
-Outstanding work ethic & positive attitude
- Strong writing ability
-Comfortable using all forms of social media (must have personal Twitter & FB accounts)
-Team player
-must have held prior internship in pr or social media OR have an equivalent major
