Below I have given a brief explanation of childcare experience, however, I can provide a full resume upon email request. The resume includes locations of receptionist and secretarial positions, as well as other helpful information.
As I am current in the process of transferring colleges because I have decided I wanted to study something that will allow me to work with children in the future. That being said, I call Vermont home, but am willing to work in another state as a live-in nanny and caretaker. I have experience with a variety of animals and am very pet-friendly. I have experience with all ages of boys and girls, and have over five years seven years of experience with childcare.
Summer 2010: My most recent position in childcare was for a family in St. Albans, VT, providing for two girls ages 9 & 11 fulltime. We played games, cooked together, played tennis, went swimming, took trips to the beach, trips to library, and I drove them to lessons and other places. I also helped with summer school work, arts & crafts, and anything else we could think of!
I have a 9 year old brother who I have spent extensive time with since birth, giving me further insight into the caretaking of boys.
Summer 2005- Present: I have been a regular babysitter for a family in St. Albans, VT that consists of three boys (10, 9, 7) and a girl (2 yrs old).
I have held many other regular babysitting jobs throughout the years, and can provide numerous references from families of all types (boys, girls, boys/girls, all ages) to help you get a full understanding of my abilities.
I also would like to note that I have a huge respect for the rules set forth by parents, and try my best to ensure that parental rules are fulling followed to provide consistency for the children.
Furthermore, I accept light housework and laundry as part of the job assigned, as well as other negotiable chores.
I look forward to hearing from you and your family!
