Summer Day Camp Counselor
Worked as a day camp counselor for Roughing It Day Camp located in the East Bay Area. I was responsible for kids of all ages throughout the day. I was required to plan activities for the children to do during free time, which included singing, skits, games, hikes and scavenger hunts. During the day I helped them with activities such as horseback riding, fishing, swimming and kayaking.

Server
Worked as a server for a busy catering company based in Walnut Creek during the summer of my freshman year in college. Our assignments included everything from weddings to corporate fundraisers and business meetings. Responsibilities involved every aspect of catering from event preparation, to serving at the event and clean up afterwards.

I volunteered for Sister to Sister for three years in high school, starting my sophomore year. Sister to
Sister is a non-profit organization run by high school girls. It caters to girls in middle school in the Lamorinda area. Our goals as high school students were to help the younger girls feel comfortable in their own shoes; create a positive body image and boost self-esteem. Through this volunteer work I have gained experience in mentoring younger girls during a very rough period of adolescence. After 6 months of
planning together as a group, we set up and run an all day "Summit" where the younger kids participate
in various activities that teach them about themselves as well as how to be comfortable with who they
are. We bring in motivational speakers (such as famous women athletes) to show these
