• Led a cross country cycling trip over 3800+ miles from Virginia Beach, VA to Cannon Beach, OR over 2.5 months with 30 others young adults ages 18-28 to raise money and awareness for the affordable housing (AH) cause
• Fundraised $4000 before the trip to donate to AH organizations; participating in ten build days, constructing houses with AH organizations throughout the summer
• Instrumental in building a team of strangers to support and inspire one another across the country by leading by example and providing direction
• Responsible for logistics and tasks such as acquiring food donations, figuring out a route and where to stay, where to do laundry, media promotions, arranging build days, managing a budget, and connecting with affordable housing organizations along the way

• Independently researched inkjet printing of metallic nanoparticles and sintering of semiconductor materials for solar energy in UVA electrical engineering department; engineered a method to print conducting particles on silicon using a printer
