To whom it may concern,
I am applying for the Associate positions posted on the Internet. I was a instructor at San Jose State University teaching economics. I was an Instructor of Multicultural Education in a Pluralistic Society at California State University, Sacramento. I have a strong desire to work as an educator in which I can utilize my understanding of multicultural principles and their importance in education and the world. I have been an educator and proponent of education for the last 20 years, and, for the past 24 I have remained strongly connected to the community.
As an undergraduate student, I helped implement the Earn and Learn program at Butte College, thereby assisting economically disenfranchised students apply for jobs and seize opportunities in the community college system. I also gave motivational lectures, not only to community college students but to high school students regarding advancement in higher education.
I soon found myself, as an undergraduate student, taking on leadership positions in which it became very natural for me to supervise other workers. I developed a sense for the need for cohesive collaboration to optimize achievements and successfully complete any task. Educational leadership and management have always been personal strengths. My leadership qualities combined with my effective people skills allows me to offer you someone to be part of a team that supports educational development and research. I have initiative that aids in the creation of new projects or methods for pre-service educators, education programs in general, or collaborative community proposals.
Sincerely,
