Preschool Teachers Wanted for Mission Head Start Program
Seeking Lead Teachers, Site Supervisors, Associate Teachers, Substitute Teachers,
plus Associate Teachers experienced with Infant/Toddlers (Bilingual Spanish)


Position requires the following:
• AA or BA degree and;
• 24 ECE/CD units, including core units, or more and;
• Previous experience working as a preschool teacher and/or
• Previous experience supervising a small group of teachers for Lead Teachers and Site Supervisor positions
• Current Child Development Teacher Permit, or higher, issued by the State of California http://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/cl797.pdf

All teachers must also be able to provide the following before being hired:
• Current Negative TB Test
• Background Investigation FBI, DOJ, CAI
• Physical Exam demonstrating ability to safely perform job duties


The following is preferred, but not required:
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate

We are offering regular full-time positions and temporary full-time positions at one of our Mission Head Start locations. Salary depends on experience and qualifications.
