My name is Sarah MacDonald, I am from Laurel, MD where I graduated from Meade Senior High School after taking 4 years of Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate classes. After graduating in 2010 I moved to Charlotte, NC where I could study the hospitality field of event management at Johnson & Wales in their honor program. I am now moving to Providence, RI to continue my studies as a junior.

Starbucks Team Trainer, Target, Laurel, MD Nov 2008- July 2010
The team trainer at Starbucks located inside of Target. When hired was only responsible for being a team member. Those job roles included taking money, being able to give change, and make drinks. After a year working there was promoted to being a team trainer, which is in charge of training any new members into the workplace. After a year and a half was promoted to become the team leader, as they call the manager, however it was a full time position working 40 hours a week and I had other hopes of going to college. Hostess, Greene Turtle, Laurel, MD June 2009 - Sept 2009
A hostess at the Greene Turtle was my first job getting skills in hospitality. Responsible for taking care of the front of the house by seating guest as well as taking to go orders and helping buss tables. This was a summer job only that I quit to return to my senior year at highschool. They went out of business.

Waitress, DuClaw, Fort Meade, MD May 2010- Sept 2010
A waitress full time in order to gain skills in the hospitality field. Working 5 shifts a week, on both pub and restaurant side serving beer as well as wine. Also a full bar selection and an upscale dinner selection. I left the company simply to the fact that I was moving out of town and they are only located in Maryland.
