Hello! (: I am seeking part time childcare for my six month old son in my home. My fiancé and I work different shifts so there is a short window in which we need care for our son and it would be a lot of trouble to get him out of the house and put him in daycare for a couple of hours a day. My fiancé's work schedule will vary, but we will typically need someone to work from 1:30 or 2:30-4:45pm, four or five days a week (weekdays). My son is extremely easy-going and fun. He may nap the entire time you are there or he may be wide awake and wanting to play. He is easily entertained by his jumperoo, tummy time and toys; but he does enjoy one on one interaction. I do not expect you to take him to the pool, park or anything to that extent. This is a very laid-back opportunity for someone who enjoys children and would like to make some extra money. We have cable and internet and I do not mind if you bring your laptop or watch your favorite show. If my son is asleep or entertaining himself -- I do not expect you to sit around with nothing to do. I do not expect you to clean my house or do anything other than entertain/care for my child! I am willing to pay a flat rate of $300/month that will be paid on the last day of the month. I prefer someone with past babysitting/nanny experience, references and a clean background. Background will be checked! The job will start on June 27th. We live near the intersection of Cary Parkway and Chapel Hill Road in Morrisville (right on the border of Cary).
