Victory Academy (www.thevictoryacademy.com) seeks to hire a highly qualified Classroom Teacher for the 2012-2013 school year. Interested applicants should send:
* A detailed cover letter, detailing philosophy of education and experience working with children impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders

* Three professional and two personal reference letters
* Original transcripts prior to hire
* Proof of Oregon Criminal History Registry, CPR/First Aid, and Food Handler's Card prior to hire.

Victory Academy's Hiring Committee requests that all applicants MUST have at least two year's experience (classroom and/or home-based) with children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and working knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), including the functions and applications of verbal behavior. Specifically, applicants MUST demonstrate a clear understanding of ABA strategies in 1:1 and group instruction. The Hiring Committee will give preference to applicants with extended education in Autism and Behavioral Studies and/or degrees in Autism and Special Education.
