• Oversees and maintains a collective of 100 lifeguards from various backgrounds as employees in different geographic locations.
• Meets with race directors to schedule timing of heats/waves of competitors during event.
• Coordinates the number of athletes and participants with the number of required lifeguards to ensure adequate coverage of the event.
• Coordinates with Fire Rescue and Dive Rescue to ensure a safety plan is established for swimmers who need to be removed from races.
• Maintains communications with all lifeguards in the water during event.
• Responsible for handling payments of services beween race director and subordinate lifeguards.
